Tan & Alicia’s wedding at The Landmark Event Center in Casa Grande, Arizona was a destination wedding for them and many of their guests as well. It was my first time at The Landmark and it is a super cute historic site. It was the first grocery store in Casa Grande. They showcase the past with charming old photos of the building and surrounding neighborhood back in its heyday.  The newlyweds live in Texas now but have family here in Arizona so they brought the party to the family. Some of their family lives in the Phoenix area and some in the Tuscon areas so Casa Grande was the obvious choice being smack dab in the middle. Tan & Alicia were an absolute joy to spend the day with. They are warm, kind, and so in love. Alicia smiled so much my cheeks hurt for her! Not only is Alicia beautiful on the inside and out but she is also super talented. She literally made a lot of the wedding magic happen. She created her veil, she pick and arranged the floral bouquets, and she added the bling to her dress as well. And it was all so gorgeous and I would never have known. Alicia and Tan also had a traditional tea ceremony where the family elders offer advice and words of wisdom to the new couple while they are served tea. The Ceremony was complete with full traditional dress and ended with lunch, including the most amazing spring rolls EVER!  Tan & Alicia’s friends gave heartfelt toasts to the new couple and one even included a song.  After the wedding, they were headed to Las Vegas for their honeymoon.  I don’t know if they won it big or not, but I’m sure they feel like the luckiest people on earth finding each other.
